Thurs., July 10: Fly from Denver to Ft. Lauderdale

Fri., July 11: Fly from Ft. Lauderdale to Lima, Peru

Sat., July 12: Lima

Sun., July 13: Lima to Paracas

Mon., July 14: Islas Ballestas tour, bus to Arequipa

Tues., July 15: Arequipa

Wed., July 16: Bus from Arequipa to Chivay

Thurs., July 17: Colca Canyon

Fri., July 18: Puno

Sat., July 19: Train from Puno to Cusco

Sun., July 20: Cusco

Mon., July 21: Hike to Machu Picchu

Tues., July 22: Machu Picchu; evening bus to Cusco

Wed., July 23: Cusco

Thurs., July 24: Mom and Dad fly from Cuzco to Lima; Sierra & Alan in Cusco

Fri., July 25: Day trip around Cusco area

Sat., July 26: Cusco to Puno

Sun., July 27: Lake Titicaca Tour

Mon., July 28: Lake Titicaca host stay day 2

Tues., July 29: Head back to Lima

Wed., July 30: Lima

Thurs., July 31: Lima

Fri., August 1: Fly from Lima to Ft. Lauderdale

Sat., August 2: Fly from Ft. Lauderdale to Denver

If you're familiar with Peru, you can see that we stay on what's called the "Gringo Trail." So, pretty much we're just doing the tourist thing this time around. It wasn't the original plan, but because of the transportation infrastructure of the country and because we cut our trip in half (lots of other stuff going on this summer!) we're sticking with the typical stuff. We plan to see a ton anyway!

This isn't EXACTLY what we're doing, but it's pretty darn close.
